Unfortunately the carrot replacing the hot dog is something that the show has insisted upon since like season 4. I hate it since it ruins Pinkie’s line about hot dogs in season 1 (it was fun to question why Pinkie was talking about a product with meat in it).
They aren’t quite as anthro’ as Sonic, and to be fair in MLP they don’t eat meat, so they’re just trying to keep in line with the show.
Being an omnivore isn’t really easy when you’re hanging around a bunch of quine herbivores.
I have had grilled carrots before, it’s more like you roast them, but like a lot of vegetables you can grill it can’t be prepared anything like meat so how one makes a “carrot dog” is kind of lost on me.
God this is so disgusting
I’m surprised a brony hasn’t come up with a “carrot dog” recipe yet. (Somebody actually made “Baked Bads,” and the M.M.M.M. before.) Not sure how a “grilled” carrot would taste though.
