You serious? That was the worse part of the episode.
Hell, I’d call it the worse part of the whole dang season.
Move RD’s “I AM SCREWED” moment earlier, then show her actually trying to pay attention to Twilight’s lecture but not being able to because Twilight dumps too much info. Then proceed to other methods.
Pacing was a tad slow in the first act - we could see RD wasn’t going to learn from classroom methods.
But that’s like, what, 45-60 seconds that could have been used elsewhere? It’s hard to see where else it could have been added save to give some breathing room on other parts. Really, not bad there.
And for canonizing Firefly. Though I’ll abstain about the pacing.
This episode was fantastic! I thought the pacing was great.
What are you smoking, that was fun. Started slow, built way too fast (in story), slowed down for the win and two morals to boot.
