I loved ponibooru! I visited it everyday as anonymous and had tons of fun there.^^
 
Though now that its gone i decided to stop being an anonpony and get a name. So hi, everyone here´s JR, ready to check every Twilight Sparkle picture in derpybooru! 8)

Ponibooru was not only THE place I went to find pony pictures of any kind for any reason. It was also my favourite part of the brony community. I hope derpibooru will be able to fill the void that the end of ponibooru will leave.

I see the anons are just as eloquent here as they were back on Ponibooru.

PB sucked and its community was made up of meme-spewing manchildren, so I’m glad Eco finally did something right and pulled the plug. Derpibooru is quite nice and has mods and actually works most of time, so provided they can keep the Redditors and Channers and other scum from ruining the place, I think DB will work just fine.

Ponibooru was my favorite site and I spent many weeks lurking there enjoying what I saw. When I read the announcement I was crushed then I came here and saw the familiar names regrouped and it seems ok so far. Here’s to hoping derpibooru has less technical difficulties and spam - those are parts of ponibooru I won’t miss.

So many memories…

I will miss Ponibooru. It’s a shame to see the site shutdown when we were so close to 200,000 images. I mean that’s a lot of pony everyone.
 
I can’t say I enjoyed everything about the site. Mainly how people would express their opinions about some of the humanization images in the the most ignorant ways possible. The way certain users decided to raise a stink about some of the most inane things at times too.
 
The lack of Presence of Mods. The need to spam Advice Meme Macros and not Pony Related content.
 
But I am looking forward to what this new site brings. Hopefully old habits will die with a new site.

Ah Ponibooru, I remember when I first started visiting you. The very first “great meme war” just started. It was mostly just image macro spam back then even when there wasn’t a meme war going on.
 
I also remember the days before Roboshi started faving everything.

Derpibooru, last I heard, was making some arrangements to bring some familiar features here.

I literally just got here from Ponibooru about 20 minuets ago and I gotta say, when I saw that message, my heart broke. For a moment it felt like everything was over; no more ponies, no more Molly, no more Yorec, no more Ponibooru. Then I saw the link to this place and my spirits lifted a little. We are friends and comrades come to this new and strange place, now we must make the best of it. It will take a while to get over the loss of Ponibooru, buggy and flawed as it was, but I hope this new place will prove just as good a home. I only have one question, does anyone know if Roboshi made it out?

Ponibooru was my pony home on the net, I will miss it. I hadn’t realized how much I enjoyed my time there .Glad to see you again mentlegen. Thought we we were done for.

I am sad to see the site fade away, but I will never forget the images I’ve looked and faved there.
 
Also, I’m very glad to see many former Ponibooru users migrate to Derpibooru as their new home.

Sad to see the place go, but I’m glad most of us made it here. I myself will officially be “back” once the wrinkles in the site’s load get ironed out.

I loved ponibooru, it was my favorite site , well, i guess it’s time to start over and see how well this goes.

It was awesome. Almost miss the trolls and spambot. But seriously, I did like it. A lot.
