Look, if it just for you that is fine but here is one thing to keep in mind, when someone expresses her opinion about your works and sees problem with it, no matter what it is, just understand that is there view and in some cases it may be a valid point but to respond to it with “how am I any different from any other fan” well then you come off as someone who thinks that everyone would be alright with what you see has fine, that is a very big headed statement to make, just as much as you are like any other fan you are also different, and you may not of seen how it raises a red flag but for some it does.  
I can’t speak for the others but your reason for Pinkie to wear that outfit when pregnant, no matter what justification you have that work in your mind, it is a big red flag to me and it comes off so wrong.  
I respect you think it’s just fine in your mind but understand that for other it isn’t and respect that, don’t keep trying to tell them “oh no, it’s fine becouse of this”.

Actually, funny you should mention “right state of mind” because… She isn’t. Ha, my head-canon is that Pinkie(and Pinkamena), share a body, with two souls, but are-of course-the same person, and It carries over so Even my Pinkie, is a bit insane.
