I call movies like that a “Wonderfully Bad Movie”. Which means a movie that we can all agree is not good for either quality of the movie’s script or acting or just bad in general. However, it’s still a loved movie. I Love Super Mario Bros with Bob Hopkins and that movie is trash.

As this was what introduced me to the franchise, Zilla and Jr. will always hold a special place in my heart. People can scream to heavens how terrible the movie was, but that will not change.

The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

IDW avenged the lesser Kaijus… in “Godzilla: Rulers of Earth” Zilla and Godzilla fought… and unlike in the japanese movie it was a close one, ’cause Zilla played to his own strengths (superior speed, tunneling ability) and fought smart (see the airforce coming in while Godzilla is throttling you? Quickly bend back so that he gets a faceful of missiles), and in the end, while he had to bail, he left Godzilla with a nasty slash to the belly.
Oh, and Jet Jaguar went even further: in the same comic he tried to help Godzilla against Orga and Gigan, and when afterwards Big G went after him he got back up and decked the “King of the Monsters” with a single uppercut.
I love that comic.

Personally i prefer Zilla over Godzilla any day.
Sorry Big G, but to me you always looked silly.

Zilla Jr. breathed atomic breath and fought monsters.

If the movie had included another monster and a fight ensued, I think Japan would have loved it. {They aren’t happy, unless there is an epic monster fight.}

Eh, the movie is a guilty pleasure of mine and I enjoyed zilla very much.

Heck, even Zilla JR. survives and kicks flank in the series.

That’s why I only hate when people call Zilla “godzilla”, other then that I don’t care, I like the cartoon series that came from it a lot and the movie could of been a lot worse, but I wouldn’t say they are better then the real Godzilla.

Some would argue that the increased vulnerability of “Zilla” made it more interesting. As for me, I just don’t care either way. They’re different takes on a totally outlandish creature anyway, so what?

Zilla or as Appletart called it “American Godzilla” was taken down by being wraped in suspension cables of the Brooklyn Bridge and hit with missile.
Ever one of the Japanese Godzillas(there was more then one) died from something new having to be made that was very unconventional, the second one from the radioactivity in him out of control.
