I don’t see Parasprites having any connection to Changelings, personally. However, in my headcanon, I could perhaps see them allying together against Equestria. Mostly likely due to Chrissy persuading the Parasprites that they (like her subjects) would have plenty of food if they help conquer the land.

Actually, newly risen Chrysalis out of her pupa would be a good picture, emerging out of an empty shell that has her face on it.
Somehow, Cocooned Chrysalis reminds me of Cascoon’s Pokedex: It never forgets any attack it endured while in the cocoon. After evolution, it seeks payback.
