Even Suri might not be a lost cause
I can forgive Sunset Shimmer for being selfish and ambitious.
But Suri Polomare using a facade to acquire a bit of Rarity’s silk and put out the product before her and lied to get Rarity to leave and steal the victory. And don’t even get me started on how she was such a slave driver to Coco Pammel. No Suri can go to the moon and make friends with rocks for what she did.

Oh I know, I was just running with it because that seems to be a moral expressed in earnest in some fiction. Being a good friend is great, but having friends doesn’t automatically equate to being a decent person, after all.

I do understand, believe me. Social cues were always tough for me while growing up, so while I may not necessarily have asperger’s, I myself have never had many friends. That’s probably why I take issue with the “moral” PonyPon mentioned earlier.
It does indeed. Thank you for understanding, and I’m sorry for misunderstanding you. That’s another thing about Asperger’s: I don’t always interpret things the right way.
I didn’t say people so diagnosed have no friends, but it is my understanding that society poses more of a challenge in such cases, that’s all.

Well, that’s rather stereotypical of you. I have Asperger’s myself, and I actually have quite a few friends. …Though some of my closest friends ALSO have Asperger’s, so… yeah.
That’s a pretty brash ignorance of the fact that there are many reasons one may have few friends, or none at all. Just ask all the poor folks diagnosed with Asperger’s these days. And sometimes, doing the right thing makes you the least popular person around. Conversly, even the vilest of filthy villains may have friends.
I doubt it. Coco probably exposed the fact that Suri had stolen Rarity’s designs (as well as the fact that she lied to Rarity to get her to forfeit) when she made the decision to quit. Even if that isn’t the case, Coco had been doing all the work, so Suri probably wouldn’t continue to be in the business for much longer.
