Mostly because the MLP hype train is long gone. MLP g4 was perfect for everyone, for beginners and experienced animators. It was easy to draw ponies in vector and to learn vector from scratch was not difficult. So all animators jumped on that train.
For experienced animators It was profitable, because ponies is easy to animate and it was a good way to gather an audience, make some name and money. And beginner too, were confident in attention to their work, as they had no competition compared to now.
It’s not that animators are completely gone, 90% of those who started with mlp have left for their projects, and some of them just jumped on the new hype trains as Undertale or Deltarune and others sometimes hyped stuff.
So everyone who was with MLP just for the money or the hype is now gone, оnly the real fans are left….

Tirawhy was too constantly replaced his hype train jumping from mlp to Rick and Morty and starting making his own project cartoon with bunnies. Eventually, I guess he got comfort zone working on a game for StudioWhy who has a big Patreon and I guess pays him well. So I guess he has no reason to do anything else. Also, I remember he got copyright problems and had to remove quite a few publications from his Patreon. Even my favorite video of his “Flutters gets BEEBEEPED” the full NSFW version that was on his Patreon was deleted, and it is no longer on the Internet, and he is too lazy to even publish it again.
WELL… I guess I’ll have to do it myself then!

I know they are, but if you check how often animations came out however many years ago compared to today, it’s such a big difference. I used to be able to check this one porn game website I liked every week or so and there’d be new stuff. Nowadays? There hasn’t been an upload in years. And yes, that’s due to flash dying, but long before flash was even announced as being ended there was still like no content being uploaded for MLP. It’s just strange that it went from many a month to none at all. The only notable efforts for animations are full scale games like the dating mlp game by Tirawhy being done, and that one animator who does that one game where you have to save different creatures who need loving. But that’s only two when before there were weekly animations. It just doesn’t make sense.

why’d Tirawhy and all those other animators stop making stuff? The most top tier stuff is still from like 6 years ago lol. If you check Tirawhy’s patroen, they are making games, but at a significantly slower rate than what we had before. I wonder why that is.
