Though actually, that’s my bad. I kinda skimmed over the description, missed the Dracula bit and assumed it meant one of the worst sub-weapons in Castlevania. Mea Culpa.

That assumes that Dracula is vulnerable at ground level. Which as far as I can recall, he never is in a game that has that Item Crash. Even then, you’re better off with something like Hydro Storm.
 
Though to be fair, the knife isn’t actually the worst possible sub-weapon against Dracula. That’d probably be the stopwatch.

My point is that it seems like whenever they have a pony wielding something that can be (or is) a weapon, they dumb it down a bit. Not a bad thing, just unusual.
