What? The animation is right up there, she didn’t buck them like she does her apples, she quite clearly threw them with her forehoof.
Also the costumes don’t make the heroes christ, Batman himself has gone through so many wardrobe changes over the decades, he was once even garishly bright red and black like a bad OC.
The thing most people affiliate with heroes is their powers/abilities and its easily recognizable which heroes the mane six represent with the exception of Twilight maybe.

Actually, Batarangs are thrown. Applejack hit them. And on top of that, Batman’s always got one more Batarang than he needs, Applejack only had two, not even a full set. And they also flew much further and faster than a solid gold horseshoe should have.
Batarang horseshoes. Get it now?
Hey, I’m just saying, there doesn’t seem to be any amount of Batman in there whatsoever. And the only Similarity to Wonder Woman is the golden lasso, and even then, that’s not exactly what she’s known for.

Even so, Rarity’s power has to be a different colour in order to not infringe on copyright, and would you wear a mask if you turned into a carriage-sized engine of destruction?
And besides, if Applejack was supposed to be Batman in any measure, she’d have a utility belt too. And all of Applejack’s abilities in this episode could be justified using Gambit’s kinetic charge power.
Rarity is supposed to be Green Lantern, but her outfit more closely resembles a Star Sapphire or even the Golden Age Catwoman, while Bruce Banner has no uniform, yet Fluttershy does.

But Applejack’s powers only have a passing resemblance to Wonder Woman and Batman, and if the suit was a different colour, she’d be the spitting image of Gambit with a whip.
Official Word of God is that AJ here was based on Batman and Wonder Woman. I can see it.
But that line also says that Twilight was based off Cyclops and I can almost, but not quite see that.
Really? She seemed more like Gambit then Batman or Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman can’t control where her lasso goes any more than a normal person, and Batman has no powers.
Also, Batman and Wonder Woman don’t have popped collars.
She was a mixture of Wonder Woman and Batman.
I thought AJ was based off Wonderwoman?
