You make a good point. But I hope that no-one does actually take this comic seriously. If they did then I get the feeling they missed the entire message of the episode. But this is still a pretty funny comic.

Possibly disabled child worries about her disability - is a cunt.  
Grown-up gives her “one of a kind” material to a rival and worries about it - not a cunt.  
Brony logic.

What people seems to forget is that magic i Equestria is very individual, unicorns aren’t supposed to be like magicians or sorcerers. Their magic reflects and are shaped by their special talent, and since Sweetie Belle seems to lean towards singing I can’t really see any use for her to develope magic abilities.

I don’t see how being upset about a personal attack (especially one based on a possible physical disability) makes you a “cunt”.  
Yes, she probably took it too far, but the poor girl (to me, at least) looked more depressed than wilfully obtuse.  
She wanted to fly because that’s what she thought would help her friends win the flag-carrying contest, rather than for her own self-interest.

Actually, there are no pegasi in this show. No unicorns either. They are all ponies. A pegasus pony is more closely related to an earth pony (in fact, they belong to the same species) than to an actual pegasus, assuming such a thing even exists in MLP.

You’re half right. The English word “pegasus” is from Latin and the plural is “pegasi”. However, the Latin word is from the Greek word “pēgasos”.
