Oh, now it’s transformed into a T-Rex.
Pinkie: you know Stanley, I can imagine too
Stanley: oh well that’s wonderful amazing mystery lady, now if you’ll excuse me there seems to be a porcupine growing out of my anus, that hurts actually, ow, ow!||
I checked Trivia and YMMV, the only thing I saw of note was the “Old Shame” trope.
What I meant by that is that I found out that Toby Bluth passed away on Halloween. After I saw this uploaded the moment I found out that he passed away.
Was it moved to the trivia? Usually behind the scenes material gets moved into the trivia part of the page on certain things on tv tropes.
That part is justified, I agree. I don’t think the lack of promotion counted as meddling per say.
The problem is that I couldn’t find the where I saw the executive meddling link was on the TVtropes page(which means it was removed).
Lack of confidence? Considering the end product, totally justified.
I didn’t see anything specific mentioned, I think I read about the meddling on TVtropes(which I better check now that I think about it, was on there a while back*). Wikipedia only mentions that Warner didn’t promote due to lack of confidence in the film.
*Okay, that Executive Meddling link was on there, now it isn’t. Probably due to no shown proof. I feel silly now.
Let me fix that link for you.

I dont know much about the background of the development of Troll. What did Don originally want that the executives meddled in with?
I remember reading about the executive meddling.
Kind of a shame really.
I dont think Toby worked on the film. The last thing anyone needs is to be credited for working on a brother’s project that is even hated by its own creator.
Did he work on this movie, though? I couldn’t find his name in the credits.
@Beau Skunky
I don’t understand the apathy and antipathy towards Titan A.E. either; it’s not an immortal classic, but I think what’s good about it more than makes up for its flaws.
My brother spoke with Bluth and Gary Goldman about the movie(troll). Needless to say they were both not too impressed by the finished product. I only assumed they wanted to do something at least decent with the concept but in the end, they got trolled by the executives at warner bros.
It is a shame to hear it. Don mentioned that Toby was a very nice guy.
@Rarewarefan
That’s a shame to hear. :(
Don Bluth’s brother Toby Bluth passed away(died) last week. He worked with Disney as well as a couple of his brother’s projects as a background painter.
Yeah, that movie is pretty insulting, alright.
What?
