“When I first got the script I found it to be a little bloated in some areas. I encouraged him (Greg Hoffman) to trim the dialogue down in several places. Twilight and AJ had more lines than what made it into the final product (especially AJ). The trimmed down dialogue really helped with the pacing. I wouldn’t let him trim anything out of the Fluttershy scene tho. That scene had to remain as agonizingly long as it was written.”
