Sorry if my tone seemed negative. Without any reason given for the comparison, it seemed to me it was arranged intentionally to draw attention to the reuse of one model. I noted the obvious, and didn’t quite understand how it was noteworthy. I don’t consider it to be a bad thing, any more than any of the other reused models. You’ve read more into my comment than was there. Sorry if my intentions weren’t clear.

Am I the only one kinda facinated bt the dark purple dragon with the big lower jaw shown here? He has the most uncanny design imo, and a bellybutton…

So the “teen-age” dragons were designed to be visually distinct, while the two different adult dragons didn’t need it and so they were animated with a recolor of the same model.
