The way this is painted is really weird… like if it were a traditional art paint with digital enhancements. No expert, I can tell you that, but it looks like the different parts of the picture are more of a collage, with the blood, shining, and cadance all being in different “planes”.

Makes it more awesome, unless this is 35 hours of no sleep talking.
