I think i’d be more amped about Lusty Luna than Half-Life 3. I couldn’t care less if HL3 is released or not, i’m not gonna be camping for three days for it or even three minutes in line for it. Half-Life 1 was the only one i ever loved anyways.
 
I waited years for HL2 and it wasn’t a bad game, but a huuuge let-down compared to the first.
 
Sure, HL2 and EP’s had good storyline and character development, but in terms of gameplay, and fun and intensity, it didn’t meet the first in originality, in fact, it seemed watered down in gameplay in favor of graphics and storyline, which was typical of games in the 00’s and today. And the Combine soldiers sucked balls, all they did was just stand there like faceless enemy goons with no personality but makes up for it by throwing a bunch of em at you. Seriously, fighting 3 HECU badass marines and the “GO RECON” “LETS GO MARINES” tough guy awesomeness was more tough and awesomely rewarding fighting experience than fighting 20 combine soldiers. The charm was lost long ago. If they release it, fine. If not, (shrugs) oh well move along.

Okay, I knew about the april fools post but not why people were reffering to it, thanks for clearing that up.

Oh, a contributing factor to that belief is that for as NSFW as this blog ever got, it hasn’t been as visually explicit as it was in the past. One person put it best in saying that for being called “Molestia”, she hardly molests anyone lately. Maybe the author got sick of the concept and prefers to focus on the Gamer Luna stuff now? Who knows. Personally, I only care this blog in a comedic sense, but I am interested in how the swap would reoccur, since it was never explained,

Following up on that, there’s been a lot of commenting (although knowing this fandom, only 10 people may actually think this, yet the word spread like fire anyway) that this blog has gotten stale and repetitive. Whether or not it’s true, many have indeed felt that the blog would be more interesting with the personality swap, noting that such a format is actually more canonically believable. For example, Luna was sealed up all that time and could have pent-up urges, and Celestia has found daily life boring after all this time and needed a retreat.

For April Fools this year, Celestia and Luna had a role reversal for the day, with posts in which Celes was the overtime gamer, and Luna was the perverted vixen. Storywise, it’s not known how or why this happened, as neither remembers the events of the day, but they’re able to call back to previous tumblr posts to see what happened, along with verification by Derpy that it’s indeed true.
 
This post is in reference to a resurgance of belief lately that the 3rd installment of Half-Life will finally be announced, which is part of a hugely popular game series by Valve that has weirdly gone years without even official statement by the company on whether this necessary story progressing sequel will be made or not. If I remember correctly, there were news leaks about it being in a planning list with some already confirmed projects a few months ago, and yesterday, the title itself was registered as a trademark.
 
This matters here, because, still assuming this product will continue to be nonexistent, Luna, despite the embarrassment back then, said after the first new rumor that she’d switch back to this perverted nature for a week (with bed hair/mane as well) if the game ever actually is officially announced.

Maybe so, but Half-Life 2 and its episodes were so influential in modern game design that HL3 now bears the enormous weight to innovate in ways we’ve never seen before and change the industry once again.

What’s this reffering too? I don’t tend to keep up with the ask blog, so I’d like to know what this is about.
