What drama?
Applejack does it a lot as well.
I think the “Being wrong about something doesn’t mean you’re stupid” lesson would be a good one.
Most of the people I’m talking about do the latter.
I don’t think you can completely count out common sense. Some things just are. Some things need further analysis and review otherwise you’re going to miss out on issues.
Just keep it in balance and be able to tell when you can use common sense and when you can’t. What you shouldn’t do is see an issue and say its “common sense” because you don’t want to think more about it in case you’re wrong.
Y’know, like how people who pride themselves on their Common Sense do all day erry day in real life.
I mean sometimes things are as simple as they appear, but other times they’re not. I agree with you in that I’d like to see her oversimplify something to an insane degree and miss any sort of nuances within the issue.
I wish they’d do something where her
closed-mindednessreliance on Common Sense is shown in the negative light it deserves.And instead of adding realistic quirks or even strange situations that SHOULD cause her to be reacting different, they keep putting her into the same stories and have her react the same.
I agree, Applejack is boring.
“Known to be boring,” huh? Guess we can throw out “nowhere to grow” Applejack.
@Itsthinking
Potentially being interesting>being known to be boring.
Also, you seem upset.
Also also, I never brought up background ponies.
It boggles the mind.
MEANWHILE
half the fandom completely loses their shit over seeing random background pony X looking at random pony Y for 7 full frames, and is quick to claim they rank highly in their “best pony” rankings and are dripping with characterization.
No one here hates either of them. We just think they’re not particularly interesting.
We don’t all hate either of them. And I’m sure there are other reasons, reasonable and non, to look at Celestia with less than absolute approval.
I have no idea what “mister cliche” is.
@ClownDicks
I don’t think she’s boring.
@PonyPon
Why aren’t we all hating Celestia, then?
Some might consider being too wholesome a flaw.
