I’m pretty sure that with this line Funko was aiming to recreate the aesthetics of the character box art style used on all their MLP vinyl figures. Notice how the main body of the character is always black on the package, whether it’s the normal edition or translucent. The black figures are supposed to accurately represent that design style, exactly how it looks on the box.
‘Fo y u all be up in funko’s biz ’fo shiz?
(I am not sorry for this)
In mini size? Because I’d be a lot more interested in minifigs than in the big ones, considering I don´t exactly live in anything that could remotely be considered “spacious”.
Vinyl and Octavia don’t. Granted, they might come out in normal colors first, but at the moment the only ones they showed complete prototypes of are these black and glowing versions.
They already have the normal damn colors.
Also differentiates them from the ponies they represent.
I thinkthey look cool. Must be my shitty sense of fashion or something.
“Okay, everypony line up so I can whoop all your flanks”
they are poniggas
Also they should’ve waited until they had all the main six, probably…
The source says that the ones that aren’t black do.
Sorry, couldn’t find that specific picture, so you can imagine him coming home and seeing this…
