Because you’re being so hipster about it. :I
So, why are you defending tooth and nail watching movies on a stupid televison broadcast?
You’re implying that I would watch a movie on TV that I haven’t already seen elsewhere. Not even my 60-year-old mother does that.
All right, enjoy your movie with cut scenes and commercial breaks for all I care.
You are just trying painfully hard now. You should probably stop before you pull something.
So, leave that shit on, go outside or something, then watch the movie the proper way.
Some of them may have Nielsen boxes, and wish to contribute to the ratings, you know.
And those people dont own a computer? Or a DVD? or a BD player? Or even a good old VCR?
Uh…the majority of people who own a TV, dude.
Who watch movies on TV in 2013? WHO?!
If you havent seen it yet, try looking it up on Youtube first.
Or if it’s still exist in your area, rent it in a videoclub.
Trust me, 12$ is just the price of a fastfood meal. Surely you can suppor our ponies with your money. You won’t regret it!
I’m just reluctant for my first viewing of the movie to be one where several scenes are missing, especially scenes that most people say are quite good.
Plus, there was a coupon on the Blu-Ray to get $5 if you bought one of the dolls at the same time. Good deal, if you ask me.
Sometime, if fun to actually OWN a true copy of a movie in your collection., Beside, the EG movie is pretty cheap. At only 12$ for the DVD and 16$ for the BD, you have no excuses to not buy it. If you LOVE the movie, that is.
With my crappy internet connection, it’d take probably 8-10 hours to download a decent (aka DVD-quality) copy of the movie. And more often than not, my computer just gives up about 5-6 hours into the download.
Guess I don’t have any other alternative, though; I’m not at a point where I can drop $15-20 on a movie I expect to watch once or twice, tops.
That’s why buying the DVD/BD is the way to go.
It’s an issue regarding trying to fill the allotted time slot with both the movie and commercial time. Happens all the time with TV broadcasts of movies made for theaters or direct-to-DVD. There’s a reason why the trope “Better on DVD” exists.
I downloaded the Blu-Ray version.
Spent like an hour fixing my old headphones just so I could watch the damn thing without anyone annoying me about it.
Who here didn’t watch the leaked version? Hell I watched the Pirated version on Youtube.
