The editor was doing the exact same thing he or she did when Twilight easily flew into the camera at the end of MMC…absolutely nothing.
2 shows in a row, a rushed finale and a rushed movie without a competant editor…I really hope this isn’t the pattern for S4.
(facepalm) oh my god…that parenting logic doesn’t fricken apply to kids at the age of 9 at most!!! You know this stuff! You know this stuff just as well I do, yet you keep on saying the exact opposite of common sense for some reason I can’t fathom.
Celestia already said she didn’t know much about the world so she didn’t go, but unless she’s an irresponsible bitch, she’s going to go look for her former student in the small gap of time the portal is open, so it all doesn’t add up.
If she couldn’t sense people beyond the portal like Sunset, she wouldn’t of been able to tell human RD and the others lived in that town but human Twilight didn’t, otherwise the rest of them could have gone.
So will you stop trying to pretend this movie made a frig of sense? I am almost positive the editor for this movie didn’t do jack shit.
I’d also imagine that Celestia wasn’t able to locate her in the other world in the past. The portal only stays open for a short while, and Celestia has other more important Royal Duties to attend to. Her best hope was that Sunset would be able to take care of herself.
But she knows that Sunset was the one who resented Celestia in the first place. Celestia probably went with the “let her think about it” approach that some parents use to deal with runaways.
Exactly.
@SeraphimDawn
Just as RIG said. And even if she was taken in by Celestia, she would DEFINITELY feel responsible and go after her the next time the portal opened.
i would said “sorry Morpheus, but there is not evidence of that”.
What if I told you
that she is actually an orphan?
And what about her parents? Even if Celestia was too late, wouldn’t she try to find her for their sake at the very least once 2.5 years had passed?
Also, I love the Fringe reference “Crossing Over by William Bell and Walter Bishop” XD
And you thought that was hay they were eating.
Perhaps she is a early bloomer in magic. And either the guards suck at their job or she really is good with sneaking past security. By the time Celestia found out about her plans, Sunset already disappeared through the portal.
Oh look a plothole! Never one of those come from pony before!
Irrelevant, since she’s was given a deadend personality, deadend motivation and a deadend antagonist role. She was just an antagonist for the sake of being an antagonist, there wasn’t any depth beyond that.
Heck, she doesn’t even fall within continuity.
She would of needed to of been at least this age to go through the mirror and not be chased after and spanked.
Yet she needed to be around 7 or less to be her age in EG since she left shortly before ‘kindergarten Twilight’ became Celestia’s new apprentice.
But to be even recognized by Celestia for her talent…
I guess that is where the fandom comes in.
Telekinesis and normal teleportation ain’t exactly dark arts mastery.
Honestly, if they had let her show a lot more proficiency in magic to ward off her chasers, they could of made the fans believe she could outrun AJ, Pinkie Pie and (Pfff) RD to get to the mirror, which was impossible unless she teleported all the way there, which she didn’t.
But we all know that movie was rushed and plot ridden, so lets not beat a dead horse.
She appeared to be still quite proficient with magic in the short segment where she tried to swipe the crown.
except that all the trick she learn will be useless in that crappy alternate universe because magic doesn’t work.
No, he’s a famous Canterlot cook, and he’s going to be very upset when he finds out some dingus put his cook book on the same shelf as some speciest schlock.
I think that’s “13 Ghosts” instead of B.
And it’s quite a marvel that she stayed relatively sane after reading through all these.
Also, ‘origin of the everfree forest”. That’s an interesting topic.

Would she be a seapony?
