He doesn’t have one. He’s just trying to do some DWM evangelizing.
…I demand more of this ship!
PM’d it to you.
Your point is?
So… what is exactly your point?
Looking through strips (which anti-dwm people have asked others to do), reading carefully through panels instead of just and i can honestly say to you that… no, the grand majority of the characters who aren’t main cast (which i would say is molly, luna, twilight, derpy) don’t want it.
They actually tend to look very, very uncomfortable when Molly grabs them or touches them, and Molly does sometimes do more than just awkward grabs.
There’s no discussion of consent between Molly and any of these characters, there are often just panels of these characters being shocked/surprised when Molly does something
Uh, yeah just pointing that out.
“having the punchline be “rape” and Molestia getting away with it may not be a healthy message to get across.”
…Well, no. It’s not a healthy message at all. That’s the entire point. It’s black comedy, wherein serious subject matter is made light of. If it was trying to send a healthy message, there would be no joke. Why is this such a hard concept to grasp?
“and the movement’s figurehead is, well, I think a lot has already been said about her and what she’s said.”
You have no idea, how much of an understatement that is…
That’s a big problem with DWM. It has no real organization, and the movement’s figurehead is, well, I think a lot has already been said about her and what she’s said.
Nope, not following her or anyone who agrees with her, people on /mlp/ deliver screenshots from her blog from time to time. And thank God some people have at least a little bit of brain. Here’s my solution to this thing.
Don’t like the Molestia blog? IGNORE IT. It doesn’t matter if you feel offended by it, that’s not the blogs goal, and i don’t thinkn the word “rape” ever appeard in it. Don’t shove your opinion in other peoples throats
>>406341 shows that she personally wants it taken down. She started this “movement”, anyone supporting it presumably either knows what she wants and also supports that, or is ignorant and in need of enlightenment of what they’re implicitly supporting.
Im going to assume you were following her tumblr followers and whatnot.
From what i followed on TRS thread, the more sensible ones arent going to “censor” Molestia and JJ.
WRONG. The morons don’t know what they are doing, Pinkiepony has stated many times on her blog that she pretty much wants to get rid of JJ and Molestia, her “followers” say it’s just to spread awareness. That’s sooooo funny that i can think of only one response.
“WHAT AM I FIGHITNG FORRRRRRRR!!!11!!!11!”
Some asshole drew a picture of pinkiepony’s oc (who is apparently called Floppy and whose picture you can see if you scroll up a bit) being raped by Molestia and bleeding from every orifice and it was uploaded here.
It was quickly deleted for violating rule #0.
I love how you keep placing words in my mouth, and making assumptions.
And i wont debate with you. You have already showed me how you rationalize things, twice, and i think it would be a waste of my time.
Apologies but you didnt really explain your position. What i got from your comment was:
“It’s her OC. So what? It’s fictional”
And. I personally think there is still a level of offense to the actual person even if it’s not physical.
Again, apologies for assuming too much.
Ad hominem. You cant tell if i think that or not. I was actually questioning that line of reasoning.
Get out of here, guywithstuff.
Yes, because it’s impossible for people to be offended by drawings of themselves in cartoon form.
I’m sure Nicole Oliver loves hearing about Princess Molestia, Sibsy being okay with people posting nude cartoon art of her on Deviantart, and so on.
/sarcasm
Im surprised that you think it’s not a problem as long as no one is physically hurt (i.e. What about death threats?)
Going back to PinkiePony, while it may not be her getting physically raped, that does not make it okay to put a person in a highly humiliatung situation.
I never said punishment was a bad thing. I’m saying that punishing a fictional horse to appease morons is a bad thing.
