It’s more than “maybe” when she lied that Hasbro was going to have HER voice Pinkie Pie in FiM.
And then there’s lying about having a failed pregnancy…
On the other hand, she’s admitted to having a pattern of lying to get attention, including about some pretty horrible stuff, so…
Yeah, I think, just maybe, it’s pretty reasonable to assume that she’s lying for attention. Again.
I still highly doubt it happened. I question the veracity of these people, after seeing them say things like “men can’t be raped”, and silencing victims who didn’t agree with them by calling them “rape enablers”, as though they somehow INVITED the trauma that happened to them.
I was talking about that elsewhere here, and it turns out that it was actually someone else who had this happen to her. I’m not sure whether or not she had actually been involved in the whole mess, but I don’t really know.

On the other hand, tracking down the person who started this and harassing her IRL, to the point where she called the cops because she legitimately felt threatened, is a bit of a disproportionate response, whatever her problems might have been.
The only thing any of them are capable of is either hurling insults, or blocking out rationality altogether. I’m fairly certain the spoiled child who started this entire mess blocked me because she couldn’t stand being continually made a complete fool of.
Nobody that replied to it sought to correct me. Instead of saying, “Oh, no. I’ve had some long term sexual partners and I still have that interpretation,” they’re collectively throwing the red herring ad hominem of “YOU’RE SO IMMATURE,” when this is actually a legitimate argument for why they shouldn’t be discussing the jokes of a particular comic.
I think that that, more than anything, proves my point.
I’m going to have to agree with you on this. From dehumanizing anyone that even criticizes their crusades in the least, to literally calling people rapists, or sexist pigs - I’m sorry, but that is not how social activism works. You don’t try to make your side look better by slandering the other side. If they were legitimate about their concerns, they would spend more time championing it than trying to “bring down” the opposition.

Sometimes I wonder if the road to Hell is paved not with good intentions, but with fascist intentions cloaked in deceptive claims of doing good.
Sometimes people are to pigheaded to listen to others. Then there’s this where context is not comprehended. Let them have there rallying around one another. If they want to be high and mighty, let them. They’ve pissed on pixelkitties and another user who actually posted about their rape experience and got reamed that his ordeal is not important for discussion.
It’s not even worth the bother, dude. Just let them have their little moral crusade and when they feel all high and mighty they probably just leave.
Nevermind the fact that my point was not “LOL LOOK AT THESE VIRGINS,” but rather the fact that they’re calling rape on situations that they’d know if they’d ever had any sort of relationship involving sex.
