You should have seen the rage this video caused on /mlp/. It took less than five minutes for someone to edit that twat from Hasbro to have a penis in his mouth. Everyone else looks like they are being held hostage with a gun behind the camera.

Before, I didn’t think they were targeting this towards us in any way, and rather focusing on marketing towards tween girls, but after watching this I’m beginning to wonder just how clueless and out-of-touch with this fandom some of the marketing people are. Seems like they actually thought the majority of the fandom would be happy about EG.
 
I’m sorry Mike Vogel and Stephen Davis, I kind of want to punch you both in the face a little bit after watching that video…I know Hasbro is a toy company and stupidity like this is to be expected in a way, but it’s disappointing anyways. There are so many people who really, truly care about these characters, so I wish Hasbro would treat them with a little bit more care, even if it wouldn’t make them insta-cash (but would probably be better for the company in the long run).
 
I do feel sorry for the crew, even if they made the best out of what they were given and may even have had a lot of fun making it. They deserve more control and better material, they shouldn’t just be expected to make whatever new marketing idea Hasbro has good (yeah, FiM is used as a marketing tool for Hasbro, but it’s not just that, and the crew has more control and really wants to make a good show more than anything).

Eh, I like them. Would probably take clay to some of them to give them varied body types, but otherwise, not too bad.

Looking at the comments, it looks like Hasbro didn’t even research the parents of the target audience before they gave this the OK.

Even facebook people get scared with that..that s when you know you did a good job Hasbro
