I’m running because I want to live thank you very much…

I don’t want to run away from Pinkamena. I love Pinkamena. She is best pony (but cannot be claimed as such because she’s not actually a separate character in canon).
 
BUT, if I’m actually nice to Pinkamena and give her a big ol’ hug, she’ll probably turn back into regular Pinkie, at which point I do not feel she’s worth hugging.

It’s funny you mention “Cupcakes”, because 1) it was written before Pinkamena existed, either in name or in look, and 2) the reason “Cupcakes” is so freaky is because Pinkie doesn’t break character at any point (aside from the whole murdering everypony thing); she’s bubbly and chatty the entire time.

I’d still hug a Pinkameana though considering she might not be murderous, just spiteful, there’s still a big chance you might get kicked or bit.

This is really creepy if you read it as Pinkie talking about her self in the third person

Because someone wrot a fanfic about her, where she is a bloodthirsty maniac and now everyone is scared of her.
