Well not those colors - that’s the mixed up versions from MMC :) But that was the other way I was thinking in broader color schemes.
They are heroes after all, thus they might be drawing their super power from their elements and it would make sense if the costume colors emphasized that.
I can’t see it being anything but green spandex for FLutters, I might have the shade off but I colorkeyed from the gala dress as a start.

Not really. Rainbow Dash could probably work for a super hero. Not the the rest of them.
Arguably, however, the “complexity” already here is pretty high for the TV show side. There might be more (the full single piece spandex seems a little bland, there may be color stripes or piping that would come in) but I can’t see them adding more “accessories” and keeping it simple enough for the show.
When you think about it, their REGULAR names already kinda sound like super hero/heroine names. Kinda puts them in a corner when it comes to making up names for actual superheroes.
and this is a fancolor of a concept of a season that is still being developed, we still have time.
