All fanbases eventually splinter into their preferred media over time. The fact so many people have found S3 lacking to the point the fandom had a flameout and a mass departure because of the incrementally bad direction, in their view, the show is having only serves to illustrate this. The comic, on their view, remain unsullied by this and find the possibility of a separate continuity to be both attractive and more fitting with their taste and thus you get people with that sentiment.
Feeling angry because people don’t like something but do like another thing is silly; plus, if you like it the direction so much you should feel glad about the ghettoization of things, you won’t have to argue against people who rightfully or unrightfully think the show itself has gone to shit.
This fandom has gone to such utter shit, nothing would surprise me anymore.
Is this going to be a new thing now? That the brony fanbase is now going to be divided up between the “show fans,” & “comic fans” now?
But that doesn’t mean anything. Ireland would be a completely different country if half of its population hadn’t died to famine, but I hardly think that makes the famine a good thing.
(woooh! false analogy for the win!)
Do you ever have an off button?
@Beau Skunky
Nah, Andy’s always been doing stuff like that.
The comic wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for the show though. :P
The comic is pretty good, but the Twilight & Dashie micro-series issues were a tad dull, I felt. (I liked the gremlins though.)
Not that hard to do at this point.
come at me bronies
I think we’re “corrupting” the people who work on the comic/show. :P I mean look what Any Price drew. >>311579 >>264427
There are times when we are blessed.
I love this fandom at times.
