Downloaded some patch to fix the Skidrow version (even though I actually bought mine) and now it works.

yes i’m using a trainer but I’ve played through the game without it for each character twice. i just use it to find all the hidden stuff.

True. Could also be windows being a total prick, blocking the game from activating. Had that happen once and had to manually go in to allow it to operate.
I mostly look at driver issues as the first cause of problems.
check your anti virus it might be automatically blocking it.
But for some weird reasons, every time I press “PLAY” at the launcher, nothing happens afterwards.
The launcher just closes and nothing happens.
And I used my lunch money to buy that.
