Good point… but I think what most people don’t consider is that “sure yeah, AJ might spend most of her time working!… But someones gotta make all that cider which gives all our ponies there ““inspiration””….

In fact. The last Rarity episode was Sweet and Elite. which most people remember just for Fancy Pants and the introduction of the party cannon.

It’s a dead joke that Bronies refuse to let go of.
 
It’s making fun of how fucking lazy the writers are with Applejack, they gave her all this potential only to always have her locked at her farm and doing nothing but work. And never giving her own episode, sure, there was some in S1 and S2, but those didn’t seem like AJ episodes, but just her friends/friend helping her, with her doing very little and showing very little.
 
But in S3 there was a lot more stuff aimed at her, which killed the joke, but Bronies refuse it.
 
In reality, Rarity is the BP now, the little amount she did in S3 was hilariously low. Bronies started calling her the BP.
 
But, allas, there’s bandwaggon jumpers that defended Rarity heavily, most likely. Because I never see the joke pointed at her anymore.
 
.. but then again, I do have Rarity spoilered.

I’d be all over derpy in a heart-beat… but why is applejack featured as a BG pony{:s?!?

Even if I did like this kind of thing, I’d still have to say no to the disrespect for Applejack.
