Also, Fluttermac makes just as much sense. They’ve only once been shown in the same frame, and that was in season 3.

Eh, it really is, unless you’re sampling from real live events. Creating stuff that can be discerned as different from all the other generic house or synth crap is the real talent, and you largely have to draw on the same talents non-electronic musicians use for composing their pieces and making them sound different.
 
There’s a reason games that use live bands/recordings/instruments make a big deal out of it, after all.

That second part is why she’s largely ruined for me and why I can’t understand Octascratch at all. I would be beating the face in of anyone playing that music around me 24/7, even moreso if I were purely classicalist. (which is something Julian Weber has actually done.) It seems like such a troll ship at this point, like Applemac.

I don’t get what the fuss is about. People already associate PON-3 with trance, house and other stuff. Sorry, I don’t get your point. By the way, PON-3 has no personality or background until the fanon took hold of her and gave her dubstep. It’s just like how the fanon made Derpy… derpy.

i remember when music used to take talent and real instruments

the main quality I’m looking for in any music I listen to is variance. as long as it doesn’t get too repetitive I’m fine with it, but when there’s four minutes of one minute of repeating instrumental in a song I’m going to switch over it regardless of whether or not I like the rest of the song.

I like electronic music in general. :P  
Even the strangest of genres.  
As long as I find it good to listen to, I’ll listen to it regardless.
 
Yeah, not all DJs do a single genre.  
Some are just famous for a particular style.  
Others are known for doing a multitude of genres.
 
I think this happened because Dubstep was quite well known at the time we started taking notice of her (regardless of opinion towards the genre) and it just stucked to her fanon ever since.

As for my headcanon, she does French House, because to her, groove is more important than bass.

I honestly believe that the artists drawing her in dubstep related pictures don’t believe that’s all she plays Dubstep. I believe it is because Dubstep humor is easy. Keep in mind that there are people that don’t know much of Electronic music so they mostly only know what is popular. they are people who call any bass heavy music dubstep when it isn’t. It’s like the general public who call all electronic music techno.
