Listen here. Yes, MLP: FiM is a cashgrab, but it was a cashgrab based not in the hands of a greedy corporation, but a woman imagining up a world where a group of 6 diverse friends could adventure around in for lots of fun shenanigans.
 
Equestria Girls was dreamed up by a bunch of computer-thought corporate idiots who were looking to take this woman’s idea and make even MORE money off of it. The premise of High School and humans and proms and other such shit were thrust upon the same studio that had created the original cartoon and voila, there we go. Shit came out. Shit covered in nice little sprinkles, yes, but shit nonetheless.
