They’ve safely found the term “best pony” to name her.

With all this official stuff coming out, you’d think that she’d have to be named eventually. Do they just slap a big ? on the packaging? Some people see “Derpy” as offensive, and I can understand that. Then again, she WAS called out in an episode. I dunno… for settlement’s sake, I’d be good with just calling her “Ditzy.” same idea, less likely to rustle jimmies. But you can’t please everyone, and I’m just glad to see our muffin loving walleye wonder is still alive and well.

So much cheering when this happened.

You can’t control what people say or scream…at any rate, bronies sitting near little girls might as well scream obscenities or other forms of obscure slang to refer mental disabilities, even without Derpy on scene, so might as well go for it.

Yes, she was there. I was scanning the background humans the whole movie to spot her. Got a laugh out of my friend when I half-jumped out of my seat to point her out.

All evidence points to basically Hasbro overreaction to the initial negative reaction to “Last Roundup”, hence why Derpy was absent for most of S3. But with 5+ appearances in MMC, here, comic appearances, an official toy coming out, and more, they’re basically going to say “yes, it’s “Best Pony”. We’re just not going to add the name that could be taken as an insult”

I don’t get it, if Hasbro is so scared of using “Derpy” in the show because some little girl may feel hurt, why would they put her in a movie that was to be played in theaters, where the same little girls would sit next to bronies who would most likely start screaming her name?

Everyone was so happy to see that in my theater. lol

I watched it a few hours ago; I think I noticed one more appearance of her with her derped eyes in the cafeteria on the bottom right corner of the screen, but I don’t think anyone was expecting it and thought to record, and by the looks of it hardly anyone in the theater noticed it either or there would have been a roar.

hah, watching the vid and basically seeing the audience react ala the chat rooms during “Last Roundup”

I applauded when I saw this on the screen, and said that was what I paid for

MOAR RES NEEDED.
 
But at least this affirms she’s totally derped.

Of all the song spoilers I’ve seen&heard, this one I will hold back until the full movie is available.

It’s got that, “this is a movie of something people care about, so lets close the journey on a sorta nostalgic/emotional note,” feel to it.
