In my headcanon, she gets a bit of the special talent of every cutie mark she removes/replaces. That’s why she’s so powerful.
 
Twilight’s special talent is magic, which is why she’s so powerful… and Starlight removed her mark.

Kaze ni Nare
This just makes me imagine another version of the In Our Town song from when she was starting out. Only it’s sung with absolute sincerity and honesty.
 
Just imagine lines like “NOPONY LEFT BEHIND!” and:
 
“Life is a joy in Our Town  
We’re all equal here  
No one is superior  
And no one shakes in fear!”
 
if she truly meant them without any kind of double meaning.
