Description
This might be a long shot, but let’s hope this spell might help with Dad’s infection… Flurry let out a long sigh before quickly making her way out of her study. Every since these dark magic zombies started to pop up, her workload had been endless.
More so now that her father had gotten infected after he stepped in to save a fellow soldier. The prince consort has been confined in a chamber that only few can access, Cadance had been trying her best to find a cure, as healing happens to be one of her many Alicorn gifts.
So far the love alicorn had only manage to slow the infection, seeing the color drain from her father after every checkup ate away at everyone. He was still keeping up a brave face, but even Flurry could tell his hope was chipping away.
Hopefully, the spell that Flurry found is able to stop the infection from developing further, they needed more time to find some sort of cure. Flurry made her way down the crystal halls, unlocking the door that held her father with the key-spell.
As the doors swung open slowly her eyes caught a glimpse of her father’s familiar figure. Looking away from her, she felt her pulse quicken, lips breaking into a small smile. Let’s hope this spell might cheer him up–
Then suddenly a flash of magic erupted from within the room, stunning Flurry in her steps. When her vision adjusted her heart stopped, her father now laid on the floor motionless as blood began to pool from him.
“…Dad?”
Originally I was going to make it so that Flurry was watching as others rushed around her to try and save her father, and hearing her mother wailing through the castle, but I thought it would be more traumatizing for her to witness her dad offing himself LMAO

Don’t read too much into the story I wrote, I made it up as I typed so it’s not as polish ahaaa
I haven’t posted in a while so I decided to do this doodle that I had in my infected AU file! The blood/blue splatter was actually going to just be blurred at first, but I didn’t like how that looked so I went with a mosaic effect instead.
Finally getting out of my mental slump and doing work again, Yippe!!!
