While on a camping trip in the Everfree Forest, Applebloom, Pipp, and the Pipsqueaks encounter Equestria’s old predator.

Had this idea floating around for a little awhile, and I thought I’d be fun to do for Ponytober this month. Pipp takes the Pipsqueaks on a camping trip through the Everfree Forest, which had since become a tourist destination of sorts. The three fillies are intrigued by a ghost story about the Timberwolf, an ancient, scary creature that used to hunt ponies many decades ago and decide to go looking for it to confirm its existence out of curiosity. That is until they encounter it for real, and are rescued by Applebloom, who hadn’t seen one in years. It’s a fight for survival as the group works together to escape the forest before being eaten, and Pipp learns to get over her jealousy of AB, whom the Pipsqueaks start to look up to.

That’s the basic gist of the story. I love implementing old concepts from G4 into G5, and this would be my way of bringing back the Timberwolves.
