Oh, she somehow accidentally enrolled into a school for all-girls-monsters school (the Japanese types) and having a belly button = human, coz them ghosts got didn’t have birth so they don’t have one.

She she hide it since she don’t want to get eaten by them monsters.
Too bad I forgot the name of that manga, its short, but pretty hilarious, like when the no face ghosts ask for makeup lessons.

This remind me of that one Yuri manga where the main girl tries to hide her belly button by pulling her bikini bottom (and ripped it off).
