Perry: DANG IT! Even my toy version won’t stop smiling! The idiots didn’t even install a ‘no smile’ switch!

:iconreadplz::iconarrowrightplz:Okay, if anyone can recall that other picture I drew featuring a REALLY weird but cool dream I had featuring Robot from :iconrobot-and-monster:, Nicole Watterson from ‘The Amazing World of Gumball’, Jake from ‘Adventure Time’, and Twilight Sparkle from MLP FIM [link] I had some CRAZIER ones after that. THIS dream in particular occurred in late December 2012. I’ve been meaning to draw it, but had been so focused on ‘Littles Pet Shop’ and more RnM crossovers, especially revolving around Ogo and Rainbow Dash. [link]

In my DREAM:
It lasted for a few minutes, honestly, and it sort of shifted from one scene relative to one cartoon before it shifted to the next…
First scene featured the ANIMANIACS high-tailing it from America to Rome after going through the agony of listening to some opera singer, and Wakko making the assumption that ‘They sound better in Rome’. Now they were in Rome, where the singing is almost something out of ‘The Sound of Music’. :lol:
Next scene featured ME in a Target store, and making my way to the toy section like I always do in real life. This is where the dream gets REALLY special…
…THERE WERE ROBOT AND MONSTER TOYS AVAILABLE IN AN ENTIRE AISLE! :jawdrop:
Okay, trying not to sound like a squealing fangirl, but the toys were AMAZING:
:bulletblue: Eavesdropping headsets that were worn by Ogo in various RnM episodes.
:bulletorange: And PERRY DOLLS! :w00t::iconarrowleftplz:Oh, they were SO cute! They had plush bodies and bendable arms, and the smiles looked even bigger than the real Perry’s! :XD:
What made it slightly weird was the small section of MLP toys next to it. There were a few Baby Pinkie Pie dolls [link]…and they were all being RECALLED. I had no idea what was wrong with them except how much they creeped me out; I HATE those baby Pie dolls. ^^;
And then I woke up, with a smile even bigger than Perry’s. A smile that induces my hope for RnM merchandise soon to arrive. :aww:
:bulletwhite: Talking about this particular dream with my good friend and fellow RnM fan :iconaeon-borealis:, she said it’s a dream constructed by the desire for some things to happen in real life. Okay, yes, I dreamed of RnM toys and hope for them to become a REALITY. But no, I do NOT wish for MLP toys to be recalled like that in my dream; I may not buy the show’s stuff, but that doesn’t mean I wish wreckage in Hasbro’s market. ^^; That was the downer of the dream, even though I don’t like those baby Pinkie Pie dolls. :roll:

I want that Perry doll so badly…though not as much as the Ogo headset. :lol:

I’m not entirely sure just how often she checks up on Derpibooru, but I sincerly hope she doesn’t too much. The comments here can be a little too harsh and personal. However, I can definitely see why so many people have such a negative reaction to her art. It IS pretty passive aggressive, whether she realizes it or not. Also, these crossover are clearly not for everyone.
Frankly, Cartunes get shitty feedback everywhere. I’m sure you know how obnoxiously positive deviantart can be.I give her fair critique when I can, though.
I guess what I’m trying to say is that Cartunes is a good person, so if you criticize her, please do it for her art, not her as a person.

I’ve been following.
My point was we ALL have to deal with it. People will make art you don’t like, deal with it.
People will say things you don’t like, deal with it.
People will make: video games, music, tv shows/movies you don’t like, deal with it.
People will post pictures with: vore, diaper fetish, gay, murder/rape and even castration pics on derpibooru. I don’t thumb down or comment and say it sucks, I deal with it.
I see. Still, I believe bashing her is an excercise in futility, as she is unwilling to learn from her mistakes and teaching her to do that is not something you can do over the internet.
Actually, it’s because that comment was entirely the comment that an egotist would use when trying to gain supporters using a whisper campaign, the blatantly obvious alias, the outright defending of their not being CL, the insults being slung, things like that. Oh, also the essay-length comments and half-assed justifications.

You’re new in this discussion. While I am trying to be a supporter to my friend, it absolutely aggravates me that the other guy thinks I’m her just because I made a supporting comment.
This whole argument has been because that other guy thinks I’m Cart, tell him to deal with it.
Well, there’s also the little issue of her rejecting all criticism of her work, and legitimately believing that her way is the only way.
Entitlement, yes. Still why go to such lengths?
I just ignore it. It’s not like she’s commiting a crime. If she wants to lock herself up in her little fantasies then so be it- it’s not like I go and argue over every petty little disagreement I have.
Okay, I’m just gonna say this, I love the fighting and the back and forth going on here, really it’s been a riot for me. Wether or not you are Cart what i have to say is this.
You are allowed an opinion, you can post “art” and such online, you can let others know what you think or feel. But absolutely no one has to give one fuck about what you think, feel or post. People will say horrible things and honestly I hate ALL of cartunelover16’s “art”. However, it works the other way around too. You and cartunelover16 do not have to care about anything anyone says or thinks.
Here os some thing else too think about. For anything that anyone likes, there are people that hate it. Your favorite tv shows? There are people that hate them. The music that i love? There are people that hate them. Android phones? There are people that hate those. There is nothing in this universe that everyone loves. So just deal with it.
Actually, what we take personally is her assumption that every character must act completely out of character because she says so, the way she is always as passive-aggressive as she can possibly be, and also that she thinks that the bad guys are actually right all the time.
Though the crackshipping and general nonsense in her pictures are a little too much for me. Still, I’m not gonna go and hate her guts for it. If she wants to live out her fantasies out on her pictures, that’s A-OK by me.

Or, you could convince her to not make every character act like the opposite of their actual character.
