Mmm, we do have some schools like that, but they tend more often to be boarding schools that take children all the way through (from 5 to 16).
That or it’s a joint High School ( Both Junior High & High School together ), that’s what my High School was like up here in Canada.

Well, it’s also possible that they all would have been the same age anyway. For example, I like to think of the Mane 6 as teenagers, but as slightly more mature: they mostly live on their own, work, and some have their own businesses. Ponies mature emotionally and behaviorally faster than humans, in my opinion.
Well she is also seen sitting in the cafeteria and you can see she is clearly the same age as the rest of the students.
She could also be a professional photographer hired by the school for prom. So no, other than Celestia and Luna, we have no idea if there are different ages.

See the guys on the left, clearly Snips and Snails.
Oh yeah. I forgot about them because I hate them.
It’s not like we’re gonna see every student at that school. Plus, the seem shorter then the teenage Elements, Sunset Shimmer, ect.
Snips and Snails are seen too, and they are in the same age group.
Then why are these three the only representatives of their age group? All the background humans we’ve seen are High Schoolers.
First off this isn’t the same universe so they may be only one or two years younger, and two STOP ASKING ABOUT SPIKE, that question is getting old.
Spike is older than them, so why couldn’t he have been human?
