Depends on what you mean. If you mean some of your ponysona’s personality is based on you but some is not, then it’s also a bit life basis but not exactly.

Princess Erroria IS a Canon Basis Type A; she originated from an animation error in the show, just like Cyclops Pony (actually Blues Noteworthy).

Erroria is not ascended. Ascended would be if someone wins a contest to make a pony, and that pony enters the show. Erroria is more like a “Canon basis type A”, because she was an animation error in the show before being picked up by the fandom as a princess with a personality. She is just like Donny Swineclop.

Exsactly! Even trough the reincarnation does not have to be a drastic change, like: you can tell who they are the reincarnation of because they have the same cutie mark, eye color, voice, and similiar manestyles. (I’m of the idea that the Elements of Harmony get passed down in a manner similiar to reincarnation, just that the previous element holder can be alive at the same time as the next, and ponies with the same Element have similiar traits.)

I believe the “G4 versions of prev.Gen” and “Reincarnations” fall under Canon Basis Type B.

What about “Original Character Mainly Based As A Relative To A Canon Character”? Exsamples: Scootaloo s’ older sister or Shining and Cadence s’ daughter? Or G4 versions of prev.Gen characters? Or “Reincarnations” of characters?
