Unicorn horns are a set of single tine, spiraling antlers that grow from two buds in the middle of the forehead. Every year until maturity, the horn is shed and a new one grows in its place, so even a broken horn will be renewed.

And when she does, you have to watch her try year after year to grow something that can harness the magic she knows she has in her. But every time it grows back, it’s more twisted than the last. And her heart twists alongside it.
