@HJSDGCE I always thought it was a bit of a mixed message myself. Pinkie was being annoying and pushy and clingy, Gilda had every right to feel threatened and jealous, and obviously she isn’t the kind of person to enjoy a Pinkie Party. Rainbow ends up looking like she intentionally sabotaged her old friendship to get a new one.

Seriously, he might have just been acting rude at Rarity cause he thinks Rarity is one of those girls (mares?) who wants to be a princess by marrying a prince…

And since Blueblood only met Rarity once, we can expect that he didn’t know Rarity was the Element of Generousity (and one of the main characters).
 
He might actually be nice. We saw how Gilda acted like a jerk and yet, we love her. Diamond Tiara obviously is hated by the fandom, and that’s acceptable. She is more than once, a jerk.
 
Also, I’d like to read a fanfic of this ship (Blueblood X Twilight). That would be cool.
