Mystery Dungeon Darkrai. He is perhaps the most irredeemable, completely and utterly evil Pokémon villain with no redeeming qualities. (Ghetsis, Purple Eyes and Pokémon Hunter J have nothing on this guy). He tries to get the player and their partner to KILL THEMSELVES and puts Azuril into an eternal nightmare for sh*ts and giggles. Darkrai is the only Pokémon to be antagonistic to be a Complete Monster.
 
However, Poképark Darkrai is not as bad. He genuinely wants Pokémon to have fun. He just doesn’t see the consequences of his plans. Thankfully, he does redeem himself in the end and saves both worlds.
 
In the anime, Darkrai is not evil at all. And he is one of the most sympathetic characters in the anime. I feel so bad for him…
 
In the main games, Darkrai means no harm and just can’t control his powers. He’s merely a force of nature… But MYSTERY DUNGEON…
