She’s got a real nice character design. If she were to appear in the actual show I’d even consider watching it again.

Yeah, both are pretty alike, both are powerful but they’re limited for their own ambitions. I understimated her when her first action was just switching cutie marks (the most overusted plot in different ways at the point anybody can do that) but after reading more of her, i can say she have potential.

And if both fight, Discord can makes jokes about how she can’t be direct while Milkyway mocks him for being a disaster with his public image but at the end, both can be friends for how similar they’re.

Actually isn’t easy with her and that’s her problem. She don’t give the direct wish, she creates a long way to complete the wish in a indirect way.

With Panini instead of just “okay, i’ll give you a successful restaurant and nobody will question it” is making Panini work so hard to get that sucessful restaurant, making impossible to sleep to him. And with Zipp and Pipp that instead of just making Zipp inmediatly know about it, Milkyway just switch cutie mark to make her appreciate her sister’s work.

Something that makes her look more like a guide than a solver even if her methods are pretty radical.

So… if you wish to make Discord powerless… she will only give you information about how to get an anti magic artifact and will make SO HARD to find it (or there is a possibility to don’t give that wish because it would not be convenient to her in case the user uses that artifact against her).

For me, Milkyway can be really similar to Discord but she’s softer than him because since the beginning she don’t have bad intentions, she just wants to redeem herself and complete other people wishes.

Actually i feel this arc is a good one to use Discord, not as a main antagonist, more like a secoundary character who wants to give the next step in the present and that’s why the crew don’t ask him to solve the problem but when they know about Panini’s past with her, they calls him to solve the problem, not with his powers, he just uses his experience to talk with her about not being so radical with her objectives because he previously was like that and learns he don’t needs to be radical to make a good will.

In fairness, he’s like a living relic in modern times. So is Spike. I just wasn’t expecting Milkyway to be his exact replacement. Down to motivations and personality. Guess this is the fate of reality warpers. Where you do it so much, your mind itself becomes warped.

milkyway wouldn’t exist without discord. They wanted to use discord again, but thankfully decided not to drag him through the mud and make him do something bad again, so they created another mischievious chaotic character aka milkyway

Both can be pretty radical with their objectives even if are something good and both can have anger issues that can be pretty chaotic but with Zapp’s scenario… isn’t really that hard to complete her sister’s wish.

She prefers to make a magical creature with similar powers to Discord angry than just appreciate her sister’s work.

The debate stands. Did Discord or Milkyway do it better?
