How does touching one skate to the ice suddenly impart enough inertia and kinetic energy to her to drag all four other hooves, which were not in motion, forward onto the ice?
Looks pretty obvious to me; the first forehoof zooming away from her sent her face plummeting towards the ice, the reflexive reaction to which was arching her back and throwing her hips forward, causing her to slide down the incline and into a flailing death spiral.

The animation team definitely puts a lot more effort into these scenes than they used to.
Since this is the last chapter of Msake Your Mark it makes sense that they would pull out all the stops.

Insulting someone’s work and calling them cringe is not an opinion, but unnecessary hate speech.
If you have such a big problem with it, just filter it

Cringe are people who are salty about animation when they don’t know anything themselves 🤦
The animation is not bad at all and the animators know what they are doing, if such cartoonish movements bother you, then… why are you here? Go touch the grass or something

Immersion break: She’s a quadruped. How does touching one skate to the ice suddenly impart enough inertia and kinetic energy to her to drag all four other hooves, which were not in motion, forward onto the ice? At best, she’d just prat fall onto her face.
I understand that’s it’s Izzy, heir to Pinkie Pie, but what works in 2D doesn’t work as well in 3D.
