The usual way to avoid OC name clashes is to put your username surrounded in parenthesis after the OC’s name in the tag. In your case, use oc:violet crescent (random_player201). A bit mouthful, but it’ll never clash with anyone else’s OC.

And then I realised that “Violet Crescent” was already in use by another OC tag. I don’t know whether to leave the current tag or edit in a (2) to it.
