Description
It is autumn and it is the Running of the Leaves, as Ponies race to help the leaves fall from the trees to make way for winter. Among the ponies racing, are Rainbow Dash and Applejack, competing to see which of them is the “Iron Pony”. And along the way developed a rather unhealthy rivalry, causing them to use dirty tricks to win.
Since the race is based on the ground, Rainbow Dash was forbidden to use her wings. However, she is not willing to play fair with her title on the line. And Applejack is not going to let her get away with it that easily…
Pinkie Pie (announcing): “This is Pinkie Pie, reporting live from the Running of the Leaves. Where we just witnessed a rather bizarre accident involving Rainbow Dash and Applejack. Spike is now on the scene with the two racers. Spike?”
Spike (reporting): “Thank you Pinkie. Well that sure was a rather… interesting crash. Any comments on that?”
Applejack: “Tis’ is probably the first time Ah have ever puked up a Rainbow.”
Rainbow Dash: “And this is first time an APPLE has eaten me!”
This was inspired by a scene from the old Tom & Jerry shorts, involving Tom and another cat chasing Jerry. This scene just looked really funny to me xD
Some might even say this is a callback to this comic. And Applejack is having some sweet little payback on Rainbow for that one ^^
And in case anyone is wondering, Twilight won the race :D
Twilight: “Yay!”
