In a bar, Apple Bloom from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, talks about her problem on Youtube with Scorpion from Mortal Kombat. She once had a video where all she did was burp. Apparently it was enough to have that video automatically age restricted by Youtube, saying it was a fetish. Scorpion then said the opposite happened to him. Despite him being from a video game series which was known for it’s excessive amount of blood and gory violence. A video of him was flagged by Youtube as “made for kids”, all because he was in a crossover video with a black duck and a stoner with a mangey mutt.
Based on the fact that two of my videos have been a subject to Youtube’s confusing labeling of my videos. Back in 2016, I made this particular video of Apple Bloom burping but with deeper burping voices, which were used from Crash Tag Team Racing (

I made a follow up video about that discussing about Youtube’s policies worrying me:

Later, something the opposite happened. Back in 2021, I made a video which is basically combining two Warner Bros Animation intros which were played at the beginning of two R rated animated Mortal Kombat Legacy movies, Scorpion’s Revenge and Battle of the Realms. The first one is about Daffy Duck from the Looney Tunes fooling around until Scorpion grabbed onto him and pulled him back to the logo. In the second one, Scorpion was showing off his moves, only to be grabbed on by Shaggy Rogers from Scooby Doo, surrounded by a glowing aura, as a reference to the Ultra Instinct Shaggy meme (

I tried to make an appeal saying that sharing a Mortal Kombat video on the Youtube Kids app is dangerous. But Youtube still believes it’s made for kids and they kept it like this ever since.
After that anger inducing experience, I decide to make this rant about the problem with Youtube and how it’s handling what’s suitable for kids and what’s not:

It’s also very strange that a My Little Pony video I made got age restricted for just burping, and yet a Mortal Kombat video I made got flagged as “made for kids”, just because of the Daffy and Shaggy inclusion. I fear if Youtube is going to do this more often to more of my other videos, including my animations. If that does happen, I might have to quit Youtube.
