She is so cute with her new hairstyle! I’m glad she got delivered of Opaline by sunny and her friends, but i’m still wondering where and how Opaline founded her? And who was Misty’s familly?

I just hope they didn’t get rid of Opaline. Feels like she is too important to be stoned, she’s the only one who lived in G4 generation so she knows a lot about lore. I just hope that now since they filled up the 6th sit in the Mare Stream plane they can now start doing exploration arc in Equestria and not just fool around and do the same slice of life episodes but this time without any villain whatsoever.

TO be honest, with addition to Misty as the timid one with pink mane and butterfly cutie mark, the G5 now look more similar to G4 crew. Misty is now Fluttershy, Sunny is Twilight, Zipp is Rainbow Dash, Izzy is Pinkie Pie and Hitch is the level headed Applejack but with a baby.

Sunny’s role in G5: Be an Alicorn and manage her fruit smoothie stand. 2 Roles in G5.
Izzy’s role in G5: Make and Create stuff out of junk. Basically, Izzy’s the Gadget Hackwrench of G5. Even Izzy’s purple fur is the same color as Gadget’s purple jumpsuit. How ironic is that?! Yes, they’re the same color. It’s possible that G5 drew their inspiration for Izzy from Gadget herself. I’ll be very surprised if Izzy does says “Golly!” once in the G5 series! 1 role in G5. Guess Hasbro doesn’t like Izzy that much.
Pipp’s role in G5: Sing, inspire the Pippsqueaks with her tik-tock videos or whatever they’re called in G5 and be a hairdresser. 3 roles in G5.
Hitch’s role in G5: Be sheriff and manage peace and order in the town, talk to animals oh, and also be Sparky’s daddy. I still don’t like that fire-farting dragon through. 3 roles in G5.
Zipp’s role in G5: Be the future princess of Zepher Heights like her mother wants her to be, be a privative detective and she’s also the pilot of the marestream. 3 roles in G5.
Since Zipp’s already the main star of G5, Misty can’t do much to ruin G5 anyway so I’m being silly about my earlier comment and I’m sorry for that.
So yeah, I guess I’m fine with Misty joining the Mane 5 now since it’s likely that Hasbro will give Misty fewer roles in the series than the rest of the Mane 5. Misty was late to the party so the Mane 5 has already taken all of the best parts in G5 probably leaving Misty with nothing. I don’t see what other roles Misty can do in G5- Oh, wait a minute…
Sunny: Leader of the mane 5 = Twilight Sparkle
Izzy: Makes Stuff = …Pinkie Pie maybe? Yeah, she seems like a Pinkie Pie to me
Zipp Storm: Flies fast, is the pilot of the Marestream and is a privative detective = Rainbow Dash duh!
Hitch: Talks to animals, is the sheriff of the town, and is Sparky’s father = Fluttershy
Pipp Petals: Sings, does Tic-Tock videos and is a hairdresser = Rarity
Misty: Okay, let’s see who’s left. Twilight, Pinkie, Dash, Fluttershy and Rarity. …?! Applejack?! Misty’s Applejack?! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! Wheeze… Okay, okay… Hang on… Just give me a minute to catch my breath…
Yeah, it’s fitting that Misty would take Applejack’s role. Hey, it’s her fault for being the last one to show up for the party after all of the best parts have already been taken.

Don’t care, am enjoying G5, and I’ll say what I’ve said before again: we are not the target audience for MLP, and so Bronies often vastly overestimate their importance to the success or failure of the show (and more importantly, toy line)

Sigh! You don’t get it. Because Misty’s joined the Mane 5, Hasbro only has one more last shot left to make G5 still work and that’s if they can make the new villains look cool enough in G5 to bring the G5 fans back onboard again.
If Hasbro fails with the new G5 villains, then it’s over and the G5 series will be almost a complete failure. And seeing as Spourt and Opaline were lame villains in the past, it’s very likely Hasbro will give us more new lame villains in the future for G5.
I hope I’m wrong about that, but I’m not going to get my hopes up too much on that.

Is there really that much to “ruin”? IMO, G5 has been nothing great to begin with but I’ve enjoyed certain parts. Adding Sparky was probably a mistake…or at least making him a baby baby was since that never works in any cartoon I’ve seen.
I think it would be best for them to make Misty like you said. The Starlight role. Though I’m more interested in how they handle this since other than Misty’s arc, nothing else is really happening as far as overall story. At least that’s how it feels.

You do realize that there are better TV series to watch than the G5 series right now right? So if Hasbro ruins G5 then I can just watch another new TV series then.
Yes, there are better TV series you could be watching this year besides G5 mlp. ‘Sonic Prime’ and ‘Tiny Toons Looniversity’.
Look them both up and you’ll see why G5 is having trouble keeping the old fim fans around and they’re just leaving the mlp fanbase now. Adding Misty to the main G5 cast will just drive the final nail into G5’s coffin. It’s a shame through, Hasbro was doing so well with G5 for 3 years before they fumbled and dropped the ball.

Eh, that’s just a BP that goes around periodically whining that the series will be ruined if Misty becomes a main character, but couches it as the vague term “fans” so it doesn’t look quite so silly at first glance - I would pay them no mind

I think everyone else likes this new mane just because they think Misty is free. But why should freedom change the color of the mane? This is too much. In my opinion, the color of the new mane does not match the color of Misty’s body.

Really? From my experience the way I’ve seen most fans have been wanting Misty to join up with the Mane 5 and becoming the New Mane 6 since she was introduced, Hasbro even teased about it in the holiday special with the extra seat in the Manestream. So you’re in the minority here.
