off course The left is the EVIL Glimmer, the right the GOOD Twilight. Totally not biased, right?
It would still be biased if it was the other way around. In the UK we do not not have “Right” or “Left” politics like how the US do; its not as toxic either. We just have multiple parties that “Guarantee” things but 9/10 never deliver them. Both the Labour & Conservative Parties have bad reputations, especially not guaranteeing or delivering on what they promised.
There are so many vectors of “GOOD” Glimmer to choose from…exactly that one? Please!

The power of the tories expands beyond the house. They are the party of the elite so they have supporters in the top of British society everywhere.
In terms of geographic area most of it is Tory even though the majority of the population votes labour.
The Tory government has been corrupt ever since Thatcher. Her entire thing of “cutting subsidies” was a lie as she increased subsidies in weapons and massively for farmland. So it really was just a transfer from labour dominated areas to tory dominated areas.
Things is the militerized police and mass incarceration breed violence. They are not needed cause it’s violent, they are the reason it is. If you present yourself as if you expect them to be violent there is a far higher chance that they will be.

As I understand it the Tories have more of a malicious reputation which is worse than labour who is mainly just known as weak and incompetent.
Pretty much thats how they work, Labour have apologised in the past for their broken promises etc but it seems to of not helped them with getting back on top of them.
Though the big thing is that the map kind of is backwards. The labour party is big in the cities in the south and the conservatives in the rural areas in the north. Also the conservatives have far more land since they mainly appeal to rural voters who are more spread out. Labour have won the most votes every time easily but the British system is based on land rather than population.
The map is, a lot more northern places chose tories over labour than what southern places do but the vast majority voted tory. I do not have a side or party tho personally.
But as I understand it the tories have a WAY worse reputation since they are all about austerity which has devastated Britain.
Yep, the current tory government currently in power is a very corrupt person, I will tell you that. They are literally trying to ban protesting, aka enforce anti-protest laws, they have also stopped letting the public vote on what they want & are changing/enforcing their “own laws/changes” despite the country not agreeing to them. :/
And UK politics are just as if not even more corrupt. It’s actually one of the biggest reasons for Brexit as the EU wanted to pass laws against this corruption.
Compared to American Politics, still not as bad although it has been a bit more corrupt lately with the current issues with this gov that won’t resign because no one will step up. At least in the UK peeps do not kill people over something political like how they do in America where politics literally takes over lives. Our governments also do not need to be as protected/shielded compared to what the US President has to be with all of his land rovers & police escorts.
Literally Boris Johnson used to just bike to work on his own, no police or security escorts ever needed.

Simplest way to put it; not as bad or controversial compared to US politics which are all over the place & always cause a lot of conflict no matter what side you pick. Its a lot more calmer & built on broken promises rather than racism, transphobic, hate speech etc.

Um, you clearly don’t know the political reality in Britain cause it’s the other way around. Labour largely dominates the cities in the south while the conservatives dominate the countryside in the north.
However the British political system is rigged and so it’s regional based rather than population based. In the last election the Tories got a majority of the seats despite only getting 25% of the vote. That’s because most of their voters live in low density areas so the majority of the land votes tory but a minority of the population does.

As a person native & from the UK, I can confirm this is sort-of how it is in a nutshell however there are a few Northern counties who voted primarily for conservative. I personally don’t have a party preference or have a “side” in politics.

Labour gained a lot of seats, but the biggest gain in actual councils was the Lib Dems. The majority of councils changing hands turned to no overall control rather than going to any one party.
I’d have thought Glimmer was more of a green, anyway. Claims good intentions, slightly cultish, does everything except the thing she officially stands for…
