A commission of the commissioner’s OC Moon Sparks padded up in a cute little nursery themed around a certain moon princess.
Well this makes me appreciate the effort you put into it alot more
see this is the very very common thing that any artist knows, what an artist means when they say they struggle with something is not the same as what a consumer thinks it means
“I decided to draw this image, and I sketched it out and lined it and boom there was an image. but I don’t quite like how the diaper looks. Oh well.”
“The picture came out well in the end and I’m finished with it. But god if it wasn’t an absolute uphill battle of constantly redrawing, fiddling with it for weeks, slowly adjusting things, constantly studying references and going through failure after failure of trying to fix it, maybe even having to scrap the entire picture and restart multiple times, eventually resulting in a piece I was happy to line and finish.”

As someone with no idea how to draw diapers and always feels like I’m struggling and just putting it together enough to trick people into thinking I know what I’m doing, that means a lot to me XD
Yeah I’ve been considering commissioning because of that but I never got around to it lol
Nope this is all there is.
The diaper actually wasn’t part of the original brief, it was just going to be his upper half. but I moved it down enough just to see the top of the diaper then moved it down more just to show enough of it I could create a design
but the main focus was meant to be on the face (and the hypnosis in the other version)

you sure beacause where is the bottom half where we see the entire diaper? i like to know if it was used or not
