Update on the Artist (me!) ✨️
I’ve never really talked about this before as I never thought of it as a big deal, even though it is rather irritating, but over the past 10+ years I’ve been suffering with on and off bouts of nausea. I do have other digestive problems, one that does amp up my nausea, but are not as problematic in the long run. I won’t be sharing all my symptoms as I’m not comfortable with it as they do get kind of personal. I’ve had a new symptom appear tho (dizziness), which is also just as problematic or even more when combined with my nausea as it has lead me to throw up which is very very rare for me when I’m feeling nauseated. ANYWAYS, straight to the point.
Two weeks ago from today I had a three day long spout of on and off nausea to the point I was unable to eat without feeling ill. I almost went to the hospital, but erased that idea from my mind due to the very long waiting hours and instead went to the after hours clinic during the spout. I have had just about enough of it as it’s exhausting and it does quite feel as if am literally fighting with my body. It was so bad that waiting in line to speak with the receptionist was pure agony as standing made me feel worse than what I already did. While explaining my symptoms, the doctor did a quick little test and believes that my gallbladder might be the culprit. I am temporarily on two new forms of medication and have been scheduled for an ultrasound to check my gallbladder.
If it is the issue, great I want it removed. If not, I’ll keep looking for answers even if it means I end up on more medication just to make it more manageable especially during a bout. I’m just, so tired of feeling ill and exhausted as often as I do because of my nausea. It does affect my life, including my attendance to work and my productivity with my artwork as it’s literally a struggle to work through it for the max normally topping at 3 hours, and the amount of discomfort I feel when I wake up after passing out from the exhaustion. I will keep people updated once more information is available.
For now, I will be releasing artwork soon since I’ve slowly been getting back into drawing while taking a break to give me time to rest. I’ll see you all soon.

Agreed, which is why I can’t wait for my appointment on the 3rd of April at the Ultrasound/ X-Ray place I live by to check out if I have been unknowingly dealing with Gallbladder issues since I’ve been so stubborn about seeing a doctor, which is my own bad. I’m learning my lesson now that I have a new symptom so it kinda gave me the kick in the butt I needed to give myself no choice to go see a doctor. I did almost go home since my stomach was hurting me from the nausea, but luckily I had my partner with me so I was able to sit down somewhere until we were next in line to give me a short break from standing as it’s torture to feel the way that I do sometimes. Never went or spoke about really until recently as I don’t want people to feel like I’m being dramatic about it by complaining about my nausea since I have been taken not seriously before in terms of my nausea.
